Youth Swim

The YMCA aquatic program will not only teach your child how to swim, but also help your child learn about themselves, safety and rescue skills, and water activities that will last a lifetime. We ask that parents watch lessons from our viewing area so that your child will be able to bond with and trust the instructors helping them to focus on the class. This will increase their attention as well as the speed of learning in class. Please remember that all children under the age of 6 years old must have a parent in the water with them at all times. If attending swim lessons and you do not want to get in the water please have your child wait patiently on the side of the pool until the instructor comes over to start the class.
